It was stitched together

With care and craft

A patchwork suit

So suave - yet daft.

A power suit that was quite magnetic

It caught the eye

It sparked…

…just so electric!!!

You’d think it’d be worn

to the fanciest places

But it was mainly worn

While carrying sticks

and walking mazes.

They say your chest should pound

And your palms should sweat

And somehow, someway

Your stomach ends up with butterflies in it...

Well that all sounds like an illness to me.

I think i’ll be better off being as healthy as can be.

I heard the crowd gather

I stepped up to the line

I bent real low

For the count to go

My pace was feeling fine

I was born just for this

Running was my gift

I felt a twinkle in my toes

A twitching in my nose

And in a flash

I ran so fast

I had already completed my task.
