I had the fruit juice too

And the pink lemonade.

I drank up all of the soda

and the last of the tea that grandma made.

I ate the hot dogs and the oven-baked pizza

And whatever else was in the fridge.

I know you wanted some too.

But…I’m just a growing kid.
