Transmundane Tuesday - September: Flower Head in Rags Carrying Eggs
Another Transmundane Tuesday from Carson Ellis
I grew through a season
As daisies do.
Cheerful as my petals waved -
Seasons change.
Warm and sunny days...
Foliage falls, crisp air calls
And perhaps that’s a cause of dismay.
I gathered eggs in a basket
I’ll need to save a few
To make sure they’re snuggled warm
and birth something new.
